THIRD ANNUAL FIGHT FOR EDUCATION
Amateur Fighting Event to Raise Funds for
Communities Impacted by Natural Disasters
NEW YORK, NY, JANUARY 9, 2018 – On Thursday, February 15, 2018, All Hands and Hearts
– Smart Response will host the third annual Fight for Education at Cipriani Wall Street in New
York City. Launched in 2015 with supermodel and philanthropist Petra Nemcova, the event
brings together leaders from finance, fashion, sports, and entertainment to raise funds for
communities impacted by natural disasters.
The gala features amateur fighting matches for an unprecedented evening of entertainment.
Contenders in this year’s event represent firms such as Tradition, Goldman Sachs, Cantor
Fitzgerald, Evolution, BNP Paribas, BGC Partners, Heidrick, Siris Capital, and more. Fighters
include Tina Lindstrom, Mike Severo, Nazar Bilukha, Peter Cecchini, Phil Moufarrige, Jeff Wu,
Danny Menes, Engy Lamour, Ofer Harduf, Sean Ryan, Russell Martin, and Sean McHugh.

Tina Lindstrom serves as the Event Chair, and Kathleen Kelley and Sophie Lasry are Event Co-
Chairs. Oliver Dachsel, Tony Dalton, Jeff Frase, Jon Goldberg, Renee Haugerud, Kara Hobbs,
Tim Kelly, Alesia Lanzo, Paul Touradji, Cameron Small and Calvin Wells serve on the Benefit
The event is sponsored by Equinox and sanctioned by USA Boxing and the International Sport
Karate Association (ISKA).
All Hands and Hearts – Smart Response was formed in 2017 by All Hands Volunteers and
Happy Hearts Fund, two organizations that have provided relief to those who have been
impacted by natural disasters for more than a decade. As a result of the merger, All Hands and
Hearts has rebuilt nearly 200 schools and impacted over one million individuals to date.
All Hands and Hearts currently has active programs in Texas, the Virgin Islands, Nepal, and
Peru. They are beginning their work in Puerto Rico and expanding into Tortola shortly. To learn
